Big Louie's Pizzeria/Italian Restaurant

Was headed to the Sugar Chest Antique Mall down the street and pull into Big Louie's totally at random. Service was rapid and cheerful. We chose to sit down rather than take out. We ordered the appatizer sampler, garlic rolls and a large Caprese Pizza between three people. The appatizer sampler was hot fresh and quick. This was a platter of calimari, fried cheese, fried Zuchini and a very tasty tomato sauce that is likely the same sauce they use on the pizza. The garlic rolls were ok but seemed hard and I have to wonder if they had been microwaved to freshen them up. The real star was the pizza. Glad I tried this pizza completely. I've been passing this place for a long time and I wanted to try. ive had bad ex-processes with most southforida italian restorers. but this place made me sorry I didn't stop a year ago. I enjoyed everything I ate. I ordered the eggplant hero with Fritten 2 times a week. $6.99 . the garlic rolls were the only problem that they soak in hot oil. I don't see why they're soaked in fat. the service was ok. nothing imagination to eat in just a normal mother and pop place.

In any case it is worth stopping! all staff were extremely friendly attentive! the restaurant has a ton of character, so it is also a fun experience! the food is amazing, and the pizzas are very unique! If you want a great pizza and a wonderful service, this is the place:

After four years of living in NYC, I am picky. I have the spaghetti with meat sauce... great service, good food. I was impressed. Leather with three spoons and fresh sauce. Will be back for a cake flying from the door by the way

Very nice. Kindly clean and secret. Had the Aubergine Rollatin remover. Chicken diablo and the garlic rolls were divine.
