Tasty but way too expensive. Portions sizes have become really stingy lately. Weight of the sandwich is not a pound as promised in advertising. See pics. I’m really unhappy paying $16.50 for sandwich that’s advertised as a large, but that ends up being just a tiny sandwich consisting of just bread and a little bit of roast beef cold cuts (see pics) with a bland gravy-like sauce that you have no choice but to dip into because the sandwich is mostly bread so dry it’s hard to swallow (see pics). At the pub on 3rd Ave, it costs $20.50 for a proper beef dip, with fresh bread, it’s loaded with real house made roasted beef, real au jus and with a large portion of fresh crispy fries. First time finding out about this place today and the sandwich was delicious! I ordered the no. 4 on sliced rye and it was chefs kiss , tasty roast beef with fresh salads and bread! The menu is huge so there is lots of choice along with customizing to your liking.
1st time customer. Very impressed with everything. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is awesome and flavourful. Will definitely be back.
