I remember going to this location when it used to be called the Char House Grill or something way back. I know they've switched owners again recently, but the quality and taste remains great. Not the fanciest interior but who cares if the food is good? Their double cheeseburger is awesome, and reminds me of the Dagwood Special I used to get at Mister J's downtown. The prices are very reasonable and any place that has a fresh soda fountain with free refills gets a positive review in my book. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items.
I have been a customer for a long time until today. First she asked my son if he wanted to sit down which my son replied with no thank you. Then later she asked me if I could make my son sit down and to stop watching me playing the slot machines. He isn 't watching me, actually I am keeping a view on my child. After that she threatened me with cameras. I could see the sad look in my sons eyes. So I stopped playing the slot machines and left. I wish I could give this place 0 stars.
Stopped today at Biggies per friends suggestion. Pleasantly surprised!! Ordered for take out, but noticed they have slot machines and even serve beer (noted for next time ; I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich (added pickle and fries . Wowza. The bun was toasted, the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh, and thick pickles!!! This is a YEP!
Small, cozy diner in a good location near Niles West. As a student, this was my go to place after school.Menu is decently sized, and food was always pretty good. A bit dirty (dead bugs in window, nothing too bad), and last I went, parking was a issue due to construction.

I stopped by for a cheeseburger and fries, and it was excellent! Tonia Byrnes provided fantastic service—she was energetic and cheerful, which really lifted my spirits. I needed that! I'll definitely be back.
The hot dog was good, but I took off some points for the hard bun. The service was excellent, and the ambiance of the place was charming.
Tried to go on a Sunday afternoon guy at the front said kitchen is closed. Guess it's only for the gaming.
