We had a belated birthday meal for my wife at Bill’s last Saturday. It was the first time we’d been since 2018, and we couldn’t fault a thing. Service was excellent on the whole, especially from the male manager whose name we didn’t catch, and...the food was delicious. We shared the chicken sesame dumplings and padron peppers to start, followed by the chicken burger and nduja meatballs with burrata. The portions were very generous and everything tasted great. We were both given a large portion of the cinnamon doughnuts in error, having ordered the mini portions with a hot drink. Oil seems to be prevalent in all dishes Breads to start were flaccid n covered in oil Friends veggie lasagne was absolutely swimming in an oily sauce n...failed to resemble lasagne I had two starters as a main Crab cakes were just balls of greasy deep fried tasteless mush What was advertised as tuna-avocado- tomato taco came in a dish full of gem lettuce , half cherry tomatoes n a very small bit of avocado? With four triangular bits of fried tortilla I think the chef needs to Google what a taco is as it’s certainly not that . We opted to pay 50% of the already added on service charge based on our food...
My boyfriend and I both had the eggs benedict and the poached egg yolks were hard and the whites were stringy, muffin was untoasted and dry, the ham was poor. These 2 meals and 2 soft drinks came to just over £35 (they include the...tip in the price). This is very poor value for money as you get much better eggs Benedict with properly poached eggs in Wetherspoons Very disappointed as the meals I’ve had here before were nice, seems to have gone downhill.
On a recent Friday evening, the service at this restaurant was surprisingly slow. The food was quite bad, to be honest. There was a lack of quality and taste. One person in our group ordered a pasta dish and requested parmesan cheese, which was not offered. At one point, our table's order got lost and we had to reorder. The staff seemed unenthusiastic and not very attentive.

visited bills at bury St.E and maybe I'll leave a review to say how wonderful kayleigh the manager was. we had asked a lot of allergens to which she answered with total ease and really felt welcome and safe in this facility. we can't wait to return to the hope that she's here, as she was so friendly and accommodating. well made bill’s for keeping big employees!
We last came here some months ago and couldn’t believe it could be so bad twice on the trot and guess what? It was worse. The smell of foul fish as you walk in the door is overpowering. We had two mains, both Luke warm...of appalling quality. This place use to be great but it’s not anymore
good service and eating was delicious. we had breakfast poached eier were made to perfection, beautiful amount of laughs in the royale. it could have been anything hotter, and there was not much Hollandaise sauce, barely enough to taste. if that were fixed, I would have given top brands.
We booked in with 9 people and had a fantastic time. The staff were amazing, the atmosphere wonderful and the food great. Thank you also for the celebratory bottle, that was such a thoughtful and much appreciated addition. Highly recommended for all ages!!

The service was friendly, with all staff explaining how to eat and enjoy the food. However, I would not recommend this place as the experience was terrible and may lead to unpleasant consequences.
The dirty vegan burger was ok. The brunch was ok. Nothing great and the staff were clearly very busy. It wasn’t terrible but we wouldn’t visit again.
