I stopped by today for the first time after meaning to visit for a while, and I really should have done it sooner! The ribs were delicious; they practically fell off the bone and were complemented by incredibly flavorful sauces. The sides were so good that I actually ended up enjoying them before the ribs. But what truly stood out was the staff—everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful, guiding me through the menu since I was a bit overwhelmed with choices. Throughout my meal, they treated every customer with the same care and checked in with me to see how everything was tasting, even thanking me for coming in. This won't be my last visit, despite it not being on my usual routes. Thank you...
I was fortunate enough to snap a photo with him and Mr. Barney. I shared a funny memory about how I used to imitate him as a kid by jumping over the ditch in my yard. He suggested we get Lem in for a Heisman pose picture. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a football on me, so he asked another fan to lend us one. It turned out to be an amazing experience and one of the best days of my life.

Absolutely fantastic BBQ! The meats are slow-cooked to perfection and the service is quick. Whether you're in the mood for ribs, brisket, pulled pork, or anything else, they've got you covered! They also offer all the classic sides like cornbread, beans, potato salad, and corn on the cob. The house-made sauces are excellent, and don't forget to try the turtle brownies and other desserts. There are also souvenirs available. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I absolutely love this place!
This was my first visit to this location in about four years. It appears that there has been a change in ownership, which was somewhat disappointing since that was one of the aspects I enjoyed most about this restaurant. The food was decent, but much of the charm that came from excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere is missing now. Overall, it was just okay, but we may consider giving it another try in the future.

I don?t usually write reviews like this but hands down one of my go to bbq places when in Troy! Every time I go, I am reminded just how much I love it all over again. Not only is the food super tasty but everyone on their team always has the best attitudeand is always willing to answer questions when I have them. Not only that but the attention to detail and cleanliness isoutstanding! Don?t bother going anywhere else!
This was my first visit to this location in a long time—around four years, I believe. It appears that the ownership has changed, which is a part of what I used to love about this place. While the food was tasty, the charm associated with excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere seems to be missing now. Overall, it was decent, and I think we will give it another try in the future.
After our original restaurant fell through, Billy Sims was able to take our large group’s order for a Remembrance Dinner. They were SO professional and everything was phenomenal. This Billy Sims location has always been a class act in terms of exceptional service and the food is terrific everytime. So thankful these guys came through in a major pinch!
