We have found a new favorite curry restaurant in Caversham. The staff are welcoming and friendly, knowledgeable about allergens, and create a relaxed atmosphere for dining. They offer a good selection of chutneys with papadums and a separate list of vegetable mains rather than an afterthought. The Vegetable Mirch Masala was delicious but very spicy (as I was warned), so it might be better to pair it with milder dishes like the Razala next time. The aloo gobi was a tasty accompaniment, and my wife enjoyed the lamb pasanda. We washed it all down with Lal Toofan lager on tap (or wine by the glass). We learned that pilao rice is fried in ghee, so we opted for plain rice since I can't have dairy....
Have just got in from an excellent meal at the Bina. Can't understand why there are so many poor reviews and why we were the only customers in there on a Saturday night. We had three different choices of curry and they were all delicious. The naan were also lovely large, pillowy and hot. We were offered complimentary dessert, coffee or a whisky, which sadly we were too full to accept. The whole meal was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. It's the first time we had been since the change of management and the refurbishment and we'll be back again.
Just had the best Indian Sunday buffet ever, and I've had loads before. Two superb lamb choices, as well as the usual chicken, vegetables, nann, bajee, salad, rice and mint sauce to choose from. We have also eaten from the menu which was also excellent. We have been dinning at the Bina for years, but not towards the end of the previous management's reign. The new management took over in February and have proved really great. Reasonably priced traditional Indian food brilliantly prepared and served. Thoroughly recommended, use it or lose it!
I had not visited Bina in years, but decided on a whim to stop in with my kids for dinner. We were delighted with the food and service. We brought our bikes with us, and a kind man guided us to safe parking in the back, taking us through the kitchens to the restaurant. The kitchen staff greeted us warmly and everything was impeccably clean and impressive. The bathrooms were also spotless, and overall the atmosphere was excellent. I would highly recommend it.

Our first time under the new ownership and we were not disappointed as was the case of our one and only visit a good ten years or more ago. Give Bina a try, we were glad we did. The restaurant was clean with an ambient atmosphere, and the varied Sunday buffet was delicious. An added bonus is that Bina is only a ten minute walk from home. Our 'go-to ' Indian restaurant now!
I recently visited Bina for the first time in years, and I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements made under new ownership. The service was excellent, the wine list was impressive, and the food was delicious. We decided to try new dishes instead of our usual takeout orders, and we were extremely impressed. I highly recommend visiting Bina - you won't be disappointed.
Our 2nd visit this year. Excellent reception from the staff. As it was Sunday we chose the buffet, very good buffet selection, regularly topped up. A very ejnjoyable experience again. Thank you so much Yeabin and assistant Johnny for making us feel so welcome and constant attention throughout our visit. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed a great meal at the Bina during our first visit for many years. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was tasty and very filling. We will definitely be back.

From time to time I get a takeaway from Bina and the Veg Dansak is always very nice. The staff are friendly and the food is of a good, consistent quality.
