Everything about this place calls for five stars in terms of quality. The cakes and torts they sell here are really quite good. We've tried different varieties at this point and everything has always been top notch. If you decide to eat-in, they also have really good coffee. One star was deducted from my perspective for the interior. I find it bland and boring. Further, due to their success, there is usually a ton of people in here waiting to order stuff for take-out. We actually have started doing this as well. We come and pick our stuff up and eat it at home. Like I said, it really is that good and we live nearby so we have home court benefit. I 'm very happy to find a great bakery in Hamburg that sells vegan-friendly desserts. When we went here, it was near closing so there was no line. They had three different vegan options when we came in. Normally, there would be more choices if we would have come in earlier as the clerk explained. I took a serving of all three to-go: a chocolate encrusted cake with apricot topping, an apple pie, and an apricot pie. I liked that nothing was overly sweet. While I was not such a fan of the cake, the apple pie was so moist and flavorful.
