The bbq was okay. The sauce was honestly just average from a Kansas City bbq stand point. The meat tasted good, and was overall an okay place.Service was pretty slow, and they aren't the most efficient in regards to making food. The ribs, chicken and sandwiches are good, but they do not serve ham, which is strange for a bbq place. The beans tasted good, the Mac n cheese was okay, and the fries were average. The place does smell amazing though. By Colorado standards I'm sure it's good bbq.

The meat on the ribs was incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone. I could just poke at it with a fork instead of using my hands because it was that soft! The staff were exceptional as well. I'm not sure if he was the manager, but he was very friendly and energetic, frequently checking in on us to see if everything was okay. I highly recommend this place!

Of all the bbq options in town, Bird Dog is my favorite! They have delicious meat that is moist and wonderfully smoked. The flavor isn't overtly salty and their dedication to quality is in every bite. I'm in love with smoke rings and sloppy sauce though so I might be biased. ?????

The food here is amazing, and I can't understand why this place isn't packed all the time. But maybe it's a blessing in disguise, as I can enjoy the attentive service and generous portions served hot and quickly. Skip Dickey's and come here instead—you won't regret it! Book a table now

Orders two meats and two sides. Both meats very dry. Baked beans seemed like they were out of a can. Coleslaw was ok. My husband liked the French fries. Dinner for two was $30, no drinks. Not much bang for your buck.

As a fellow bbq man myself, I have to give credit. This place is almost as good as mine. I recommend if you're in the Springs. Good sauce and ribs.
