We first heard about Birdie after someone shared a vanilla Danish with us, and I was instantly in love—so naturally, we had to seek out this well-known local bakery. Despite being a small space, it offers a multitude of options, both sweet and savory, all looking incredibly tempting. We ended up trying the Basque cheesecake and the tiramisu maritozzi, and both desserts were excellent. The standout was definitely the maritozzi—the bun was unbelievably soft and fresh, and the flavors were spot on. It alone made the visit worth it. The drinks were good overall.
