Find this local gem while we were visiting our kids. A storefront restaurant serving European food. Just wanted a little bit since we flew in and had a late lunch. I tried the Grilled Octopus, Garlic /Oil and Escarole and Fried Calamari with Tomato Sauce. Both very good. My wife ordered the Butternut Squash Soup and the Eggplant Rollatini. She thought the soup was on the light side. Miguel , the owner who comes from Portugal's Madeira Islands is consistently over seeing the dining room and talking with diners. Even plays the ukulele. Both very good food and service.
We had dinner while staying in Tarrytown and it was fantastic! The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and the ambience was beautiful. Our servers were incredibly friendly and cheerful. The owner, if I’m not mistaken, greeted diners while playing his ukulele, which added a lovely touch. The cuisine has a Portuguese flair with Mediterranean influences. We felt so fortunate to have discovered this gem! Since the seating is somewhat limited, I highly recommend making reservations.
I had an incredible experience at the restaurant. The seafood pasta was bursting with flavor and generously packed with large, tasty seafood pieces. Miguel, a talented artist, has his beautiful paintings displayed throughout the dining room. He even serenaded us with a special anniversary song. Overall, the entire experience was delightful and truly unforgettable.
The food was amazing. The first time here and not my last. Fried Oktopus should die. I had the Halabut as the main course and that was delicious. They made me feel like a family that is the best part of a good restaurant. The drinks were also delicious if you like a good espresso or pomegranate martini!

Very comprehensive menu, seafood was excellent, simple salads were perfectly well seasoned, some Portuguese specialties available were authentic. Atmosphere is authentic and artsy in a good way. I noticed the paintings on the wall were very good, actually made by one of the restaurant owners.
We went through the restaurant after we were completely disappointed by another place for cocktails and a drink. We were greeted by Carlos and he took care of us! The food and service was excellent! The flame for the desert was the best we ever had.... We keep this little jewel in our Top 5!
The braised rabbit is a must have!! I love that the menu has items that you can't find elsewhere and the staff is amazingly attentive. For dessert, try to Molotov it's merengue with almonds and caramel sauce. Light and fluffy!
