What happened to Waterfront? During my previous visit to Heringsdorf and my stay at Steigenberger Hotel, I was thrilled by Waterfront, the seaside restaurant, which is part of the hotel. But this enthusiasm is not much left. In view of my experience, I went directly to the Waterfront my first evening at the hotel. Very different staff from the previous period, but this can and does in the hospitality industry. But where was the atmosphere, where was the mood. This beautiful restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. It is part of the Steigenberger Hotel, but attracts outside guests as it lies directly on the promenade. Food offers something for everyone, including for children, but although the plates are nicely arranged, the food is simply ok, no longer. With some improvements in the kitchen this could be a fantastic place. The service is also somewhat inconspicuous.

This restaurant is very convenient when you stay at the amazing Steigenberger Grandhotel and Spa. The menu is somewhat limited, and the food was good, but not great. The servers were friendly, though a bit slow and inconsistent in their service.

We had lunch in the Bistro Waterfront. The food was delicious, with good size portions. It was a bit windy, so we decided to have lunch inside, but they have a very nice terrasse. The service was fast and friendly.

Great home made cake in the afternoon if you really get someone to serve you. Everything you can eat on Saturday night in summer. Not bad.
