"The food was well cooked, but we were surprised getting our plates (24 euros per plate) without side and they did not tell us, good that we ordered graten for our daughter and share it."

An absolutely outstanding dining experience!! There is a small, intimate interior with tons of decor all over the walls. We ordered escargot and artichokes for appetizers. Both were delicious, especially the escargot, which might be my new favorite food! Who knew snails could be so scrumptious? As unrefined Americans, we only had water at the table, and a random waiter came up to us and said, “No, no, no, we must get you some wine for your meal!” And he proceeded to ask us what we were having for dinner, what we were in the mood for, etc., to find the perfect wine for us. For the main course, we got a lamb fillet with scalloped potatoes. Both were excellent, especially the lamb which was coo...
Great, great bistro. It was my first time and I will go back for sure. If you want a classic, small Bistro with perfect decor this is your place. The food, staff and owner were fanastic. In fact, a vagrant got into the restaurant and stole my iphone right off the table, I was stuck behind the table on the banquette but my friend, my wife and the owner chased down the thief on the street using Life 360 on my wife's phone. The owner confronted the thief and was able to recover my phone!!
Small, traditional, Parisian bistro. Delightfully retro interior; very friendly host and waiting staff. English spoken. Terrifically varied menu and extraordinary wine list. We enjoyed razor clams in parsley and garlic butter, and baked crotin and salad for starters; with wonderful confit lamb with dauphinoise potatoes for mains, and iles flottantes, and delicious Mille-feuile for dessert. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices given the quality. Highly recommended.
Very cute, tiny restaurant. We had a fantastic entrecote and an even better cod as mains. Like seriously out of this world. Straight forward, no fancy chichi, but unbelievably delicious and of such outstanding quality and so amazingly well prepared… when in Paris: you should seriously make an effort to visit Chez Marcel. The starters were also to die for, just saying.
Excellent find. my friend wanted to try this place for the longest time, we arrived at 12 and luckily there were still places available. Its lyonaise cooking. a lot of lard and pork in their cooking. we ordered the risotto, fillet du canard and starter of sliced beetroot. Really delicious. The servers were friendly too!
The cuisine is really surprising! The meat is well cooked and the sauce is totally stunning that you will want to lick the plates But to finish a 5/5 dinner, the desserts is not recommended at all, it ruin a little the happiness of having such a nice meal! Because it’s already made and assemble together after….
Beautiful rustic atmosphere and friendly staff. Everything we ate was good. I would suggest a nicer plating for the steak. Prices are normal. With the greetings from the kitchen (in the form of salami), we did not receive bread. Nevertheless, a good experience.
The best restaurant in Paris by far! If you're looking for a traditional Parisian Bistro, don't look any further. People have been coming here for years and dinner here feels like you're part of the family.
Eclectic decor and eccentric host, very cosy and intimate. Wine selection and recommendations brilliant. Food was tasty but not quite as good as some places I ate in Paris but atmosphere made up for this
