On Saturday, we called at J P Moulinet, poissonnerie, (just up the street from the bistrot and who was about to close as we hoped to dine at his place. He told us to walk down to the bistrot, ask for Frederic, book a table and come back which we did. He then made up a fruit de mer platter for two (about 50€ which we took down to the bistrot were our table was set, rather craftily, in the window. Bread, wine, desert, coffee and some delicious Breton digestives followed (57€ and any number of passers by saw our supper and came in. A very happy dining experience that evolved somewhat by chance and with the help of Frederic and M. Moulinet became a memorable evening. Thank you Le Bistrot D'Ernes...

One of our party of 3 has a severe food intolerance on sea food. On recommendation of Jean-Pierre from Poissonerie Moulinet we booked a table with Frédéric at le Bistro d‘Ernest for the next day. We got a combo of fruits de mer from Jean-Pierre (take away to le Bistro) with a fine selection of fine honest Breton food and wine. A great dining experience in an awesome place.
