Great food! The staff was wonderful to help me choose a wine to go with my meal I am new to wines. It was a local wine Gippsland and I really enjoyed it. The prices are similar to the Bowls Club, but the food is top quality and cooked with obvious passion. My friend had a steak and he said it was the best he had, and that said something! He also had a suggested craft beer (also a local Gippsland brew) and it was good. It's sure we're coming back. Clean environment, tablecloths and intelligent looking staff in uniform, helpful and friendly.
A little known jewel in Traralgon, Bistro Grata works hard to bring you fresh, seasonal local products for a great price. The chef has a sustainable and enlightening philosophy to his menu and it mixes into lovely dishes that change with the season, as well as our food and products. Eating here gives a wonderful example of amazing Gippsland and Australian products. They store large craft beers and alcohols from the Gippsland. Comfortable and spacious, the venue is non-pretentious and the staff is knowledgeable and accessible.
Beautiful seafood sauce, 300 grams of Rump. Beautiful locally brewed wheat beer to go to dinner. Beautiful side of fresh veggies. Very courteous service. Next time it has to taste spirits (started, whisky).
Delicious food prepared with great care. Small menu so that produce is fresh and top quality. Nothing was too much effort. Thanks for a lovely experience
