We stopped here the first night of our vacation in Ischgl. Even though I was tired, the waiter made the evening great. He didn't pressure us to order individual fondues, so we ended up having a couple of apps and a single fondue chinoise. This was more than enough for the 2 of us (with the caviat that I was seriously too tired to eat after the first course). One of the highlights of the night was a recommendation on bottle of wine we ordered which I didn't recognize. When entering the restaurant, I was not excited and when I found out the waiter was preparing the raclette it didn't get better, but wooow this is fantastic. The cheese, the small patatoes; what a taste, what a quality. The owner was very busy with our well being. Wjen he saw the plates being finishwd in no time? He made sure that we would not leave without sufficient food. He even advised what restaurant to pick the next day; he made the reservation for us (@Grillalm).I am not often overly excited about a restaurant, bit the whole experience was SUPER.

Had a reservation for 9pm, we arrived at 8.50pm and we are asked to wait at the bar.No draft beer (only bottles), we ordered the cheapest bottle of wine at 48 euros...that is expensive even by Ischgl standards.Eventually at 9.25pm our table was ready....that is a long wait when you have a reservation.Fondue was good. But evening was spoilt by the long wait and the very expensive wine and water.220 euros for 2 bottles wine, 1 bottle water (7 euros) and Fondue for 4.I think that is expensive. We will not return.

We had a tasteful cheese fondue with a decent wine. Pretty expensive though. After dinner, we were offered local schnapps that were put on the bill (€12 per shot) without asking. Felt a bit like a tourist trap.
