After a day sightseeing around Bordeaux we were late in thinking about dinner but thankfully Bistro Reno squeezed us in at 21.30. Lovely, friendly, helpful and knowledgable waiters ensured we had a great dining experience and their wine recommendations were perfect for our food. Starter of Dourade tartare was delicious, followed by perfectly cooked Fillet de Beouf, although this was "French" rare, therefore still blood red! Desserts were equally good, although it was tough to choose, the pineapple tartare with coconut won out and didn't disappoint. Great friendly place in a good central location.

Pictures will never do this small bistro in the heart of old town Bordeaux justice. Here on a long, long weekend, we stumbled upon this gem for a speedy lunch and both had the "Langoustines Ravioli" just cooked, just perfect" with bags and bags of flavour. Strawberry tart to finish was just as impressive, short short crust, succulent strawberries good enough for a master patisserie genius. So good we came back a few days later for dinner. Sold out of ravioli (aghh) we had the tuna and cod, no problem they were both "blow your mind" brilliant. 10 on the trip advisor list, must be top 3?

The starters and mains were delicious, and the waiters provided excellent advice on wines to accompany the food. The portions were a little small (although packed full of flavour!) but the restaurant provides plenty of complimentary fresh bread to fill up. The atmosphere was nice, as we sat outside overlooking the gorgeous street. One issue, however, was that we were sat next to the menu board on the wall so I had to keep moving to allow others in the street to see the menu! Overall, I would definitely recommend for a relaxing and yummy evening.

Very enjoyable meal, langoustine ravioli was excellent, as was the seared Tuna. Dourade tartare was good, but nothing special. Dessert of roasted pineapple with coconut ice cream very good, as was the strawberry & basil ice cream shortcake. White wine was ok. Menu is written on a board, and the waiter explained it to us in English. Nice décor inside, great service too. 96 euro for 3 courses & bottle of wine, pretty good for Bordeaux. Overall definitely recommended. Book a table now

A small restaurant in the old city. The high scores are completely justified. The food was delicious, including the fish tartare and lobster ravioli appetizers, and the oxtail pie and duck entrees. The two waiters were extremely busy, but the service was friendly and each dish was served within seconds of the time it was ready.

We were lucky to get the last available table and sat outside in the lovely street ambience. I had the rabbit and my wife, the duck. The rabbit was good but the duck was to die for. Superb. The mi cuit chocolate pudding was excellent. Friendly helpful service. A very enjoyable night. Thoroughly recommended

Wow !! The best version of French cuisine in the heart of the old town of Bordeaux. Esquisite dishes, perfect atmosphere, music, you can even leave your sign on the toilet's walls! Be creative! Top wine list! You can't be wrong here. Martyna & Vitold

A lovely meal, the langoustine ravioli in creamy seafood sauce was particularly good. We drank wines by the glass, not too expensive, the service was excellent, although the restaurant was busy, we were allowed to eat at a keisurely pace Book a table now

We hadn't booked but they found us a table in the back. I thought for the price that the 3 course meal was really good value and service was friendly and professional. We also had a bottle of Pessac Leognan with it.
