This is a wonderful restaurant involving committed people who are qualified for their roles and whom seem to enjoy every moment of making their guests' experiences memorable.There is an obvious commitment to excellence in every aspect of the establishment. The wines are superb, the food creative and delicious. The tables are nicely separated and the banquettes a delight. The perfect ambience for every occasion.This is a restaurant where the bartender remembers your favourite aperitif and sends it to your table perfectly timed. Perhaps I should book for tonight! Bistro Rex was a fantastic experience . The service was spot on , non intrusive but always there when needed; friendly the Food was sensational from great menu offering, specials through to flavour, taste with the added benefit of allowing BYO for the special bottles you have in your own cellar enjoying them in a great environment with exceptional Food, ambiance all delivered by an experienced Team. Such a satisfying memorable dining experience from start to finish a MUST on everyone's list
I went to Bistro Rex for a late lunch and my guest and I enjoyed it tremendously! The food was casual and excellent we enjoyed it all. The service was particularly wonderful. They were very friendly staff with good service experience attentive but not overbearing. Finally, we were there between the lunch and dinner rushes which turned out to be really great time to be there relatively quiet and very relaxed, which was perfect for a leisurely rainy afternoon
This was our first visit to Bistro Rex. We initially became aware of Bistro Rex by watching The Chef's Line and subsequently made a visit.The restaurant and the food that we had, as well as the service, was excellent. We will be back and have already told friends of our visit.Overall there is only one word and that is fantastic

Culinary delight fantastic service, great food and excellent ambience. Standout dishes include the steak frites, french onion soup the best I've had, and choc creme brulee. Can't wait to return
