Typical, simple, bistro decor but with style. Innovative menu that changes with the seasons, a real pleasure not to find just the old Savoyard favourites everyone else produces. Charming patron/chef who speaks excellent English (he is half Scottish) and very pleasant staff effecting prompt service. Food is terrific and good value, well priced and varied wine list. Strongly recommended, best place to eat in La Roche.

Devine!Good wine, and even though the place was completely full, and the waiter worked like a horse, his friendliness and patience never lacked.On top of all, prices are also not to high!We immediately reserved for the next night!
Good value menu du jour at lunchtime - 12.50 euros plat and 14.50 entrée & plat. Limited choice à la carte at lunch with wider choice in the evenings. We had an excellent filet de fera (local freshwater fish) and a good salade campagnarde. Friendly professional service with good wine by the glass. Very popular and fills up quickly at lunchtime so worth reserving a table.
