Went with a friend from Scotland yesterday evening, the French restaurant we were going to was closed so decided to try the Men-Glaz. We were the first in the restaurant at 7.30. Met by a very nice young woman behind the bar, who showed us to a table in the window. We ordered the assiette mix as a starter, a bit pricy but was fine, and as we had gone for looking for french food, and it was mostly burger and pizza on the menu, the young lady recommended the fish and chips english style. This we opted for! When it came, it resembled baked cardboard fish fingers. We had planned to eat at La Forge only to find it closed for the hols. Very much like Pontivy so we drove there on spec. Nearly a disaster because almost everywhere shut, but found this place in a small square. Modern looking, small patio out front but that was too hot for us with two small babies, even 7:30! We suspected the place had not been open long? Very quiet when we arrived but filled up steadily and by the time we left it was full. Might need to make a reservation if eating a bit later?? Service was prompt, effective and friendly, all by a single young waitress, who also cleared away!! My huitres were great as they have been throughout theses hols in this part of France. My roast du...

8 family and friends ranging from 3 to 46 ate here in August. There is a large decked outdoor area at the front, a modern bistro inside and a small walled courtyard. The restaurant Is in a square and overlooks a church. There is a vast choice on the menu. Italian and local French dishes. The children all chose pizza, the adults went a la Carte and there is an excellent set 3 course lunch menu for €14 which two of us chose. Excellent choice. Service was excellent and the staff were very patient as we were a large table at a busy time with kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful too even though our French was not great. Food was great quality for such a large menu. Overall this restaura...

Quite long wait for food which was so so. We have ordered 4 different meals and everyone said similar review. Also overextended waiting time, when some people received meals earlier even if they came later. We're usually not really picky about service and food but this one ended with heavy stomach
