First of all, we paid $47 for pizza and water. It took an hour for it to come. The people who came in after us, (they sat down well after us) at least two separate parties, received their meals first and it even felt like they got better service. We sat in the bar area due to the rest of the restaurant being a 30 min wait. We already were a little turned off after realizing people around us got their meals before us. What didn't make any sense is that our waiter kept coming over every 5 mins asking us if we wanted anything, obviously we kept saying no thank you bc we already put our orders in and still didn't have anything. In fact, we didn't receive our pizza until an hour after being seate...
We usually stay home on Father's Day, but this year the family and I decided to eat here for Father's Day. We expected wait times would be long. For a party of 6, we waited for an 1.5 hours. While waiting, we overheard the hostess tell patrons that it would be about a 2-3 hour wait because they were short staffed. They didn't want to compromise guest's food orders. after a few months we have made a program to eat deep teller pizzas at bj 's. the people drove in a Monday evening crowd to reach this newark, CA location on mowry ave. exit the shocked 880. we were asked to wait outside to finish the table. so waited for 20 minutes. he has recovered to the finally ordered drinks and then came the main server. we started ordering pizzas and then he told us that we're going to get out, so no pizzas can make. bj 's is from cheese and cannot serve pizzas. we're all at taco bell and we're still laughing.
Atmosphere is nice. Thats what the 3 stars are for. Took away two stars for lack of attentive service. The food is only decent. Thats my conclusion after coming here 4-5 times in a year and ordering something different each time. The last time Iwas here my sever only checked on us once the whole time we were there and it was a slow day too...it was a mid afternoon on aweekday. I would've spent more money if he actually cared about seeing if we wanted anything else.

The oven-roasted salmon meal is consistently outstanding. The salmon is perfectly cooked and seasoned, served with a side of rice mix and broccoli. The sauce, though tasty, is served on the side, which is a nice touch. The salmon bowl is also perfect, with the added bonus of customizable options.
Everything is good the Soup And Salad Combo so good ! Perfect portions! Definitely loved everything only thing they forgot was my ranch for the Chicken Tenders.
Check-in was fast and they seated our party right away. Our server got our order accurately and brought our food quickly.
tri tip and ribs were very tasty! mashed potatoes were good and the baked potatoes were huge! awesome deal!
