So food was ok. I ordered over priced guacamole on grub hub last night it was a filled cup and well worth8$ I was able to share with my kids that loved it. I ordered again today and it wasn't even filled half way for my children to share It was less than half. So I called in to bjs and spoke to the guy over the phone asking for the kitchen he said he could help me I didn't have to talk to the kitchen. For a brew house style restaurants my experience was mediocre at best. It was not particularly crowded but the service both for my server and the kitchen was very slow. I ordered the jambalaya which was good except that they put it over rice pilaf instead of wild rice as would be traditional. I got a tomato and mozzarella salad . I was expecting wedges of tomato wedges of mozzarella but instead had overripe tomatoes and little tiny grape size balls of mozzarella. The balsamic vinaigrette was very good. Being a cook I say this lightly but Zero communication between back and front of House.. last night around 10 pm (Thursday)my friend and i were stuck waiting over an hour for one deep dish pizza and an order of sliders .. absolutely clueless to why it was currently taking so long. maybe 50 people in the building total.. I decided to try this place out with a friend tonight as I live nearby but had never tried it. I was hesitant based on the low ratings. I approached the front desk right around 6 and the hostess was extremely rude. I asked how long a wait would be for a booth. She said 15-20 minutes. Then I asked if the wait would be as long for a table. This girl, with huge butterfly neck tattoos (NOT professional! literally rolled her eyes at me and said- Um... I’d give zero stars if I could. I ordered take out from DoorDash and have been for many years and I get a burnt black sandwich. I tried calling the restaurant and manager left me on hold. I had to call back a second time. Bad business. As a restaurant you should be ashamed you sent this out. It smells and looks burnt! Disgusting.Reading your reviews this seems like an on going issue.
They can't seem to get it together. My last fail was my salad . Who can screw up a salad?THEY can. It was like they dumped the entire spice container in my food. Both bartenders agreed that was a big heck no. I could list all my bad experiences but why bother .
I had the cherry glazed salmon and it was delicious will definitely be back for prime rib. Also the drinks are yummy ? it’s always a good meal with the family one of our regular restaurants.
