My friend and I love coming to breakfast on Monday. We always get the pancakes as it is our favorite thing on the menu and while we wait, we always play a game of cards. It is just a beautiful, quiet, around beautiful family atmosphere. We really enjoy Ray as a server. He's always so nice. There is also a blond waitress who always works there and we had them once as a server. She is also very friendly and outgoing and we always hear her bright, cheerful voice in the back or with other customers. Overall, everyone is very nice and always seems to be in a happy mood when we are there. Good work for everyone there and thank you for always treating your customers so well.
So the black bear diner in Danville ca right on Camino Ramon is a dive the Service sucked! I ordered the new York steak dinner medium rare with salad, mash potatoes and coleslaw. The steak was freezer burned, over cooked and had no flavor. The coleslaw was sour and the lettuce in the salad was brown. Will not be returning to this restaurant nor do I recommend it. If I could give 4 negative stars, I would!
The food was fresh and the service was spot on. They were on top of everything. Loved the bears everywhere, I'll definitely be going back!!
Black Bear is one of my consistent go-to restaurants. Food is always fresh, priced at a value and service is fast and friendly.
