Due to a technology malfunction our meal took 40 minutes to arrive. It would have been good PR to have at least offered a complimentary drink or dessert. The food was fine although I would not have ordered the cauliflower cheese if I had known it was very light on the cheese sauce. The table behind had two dogs which created more noise than is really acceptable. I have eaten there several times and have not had a bad experience before. Hopefully it was just a blip and I would probably go back there again.
Very slow service, everything arrived at different times and had to chase some of the meals. Food was ok but not value for money. The kids meals were very good, they really enjoyed them. Some staff were very good, helpful and quick and others were the opposite so can’t really judge the staff as was not consistent. The main positive was that it was close and family frindly
Booked a lunchtime dinner with my wife. It was a Sunday. We both had roast. My wife had chicken and I had beef. Food was superb. Well presented and delivered to the table in a polite manner. The staff are impressive and the manager is very obliging. It is a wonderful place to spend quality time with loved ones, family or friends. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
Nice evening with friends, however, food not up to par. My gammon was overdone and one of our party’s food was missed off the order and arrived when the rest of us had half finished our meal. Won’t rush back again.

Had a really good meal here for my 40th birthday. Food and service is very good, whilst there is a standard menu which is good, there are also ever changing specials boards.
