Went to the black lion for a short 2 night break with my sister .Didn't know what to expect have only stayed in a pub once, the staff were very friendly, the pub was cosy the beer is very nice. Quiet rooms, full English breakfast was best we have had in a long time, landlord and his family are very nice nothing is too much trouble. Thanks for a nice stay, will be going back next year . had a great time. very nice and helpful staff. pool and steam room super. even better with a glass of wine. the room was very clean with the world's most powerful shower.
to stay rental and rental are great host rooms are perfect and in the black lion bar a great atmosphere they meet are friendly again highly recommended
great real pub. no pretension. excellent staff. cheap beer on Tuesday. anna was particularly beautiful and barry was a perfect host. I'm back!
