We stopped here for coffee and to get breakfast to go. The lady behind the bar was not friendly. She took all of our coffee orders and we assumed she would then take our food orders, but she walked away. She then made all our coffee orders instead of getting our food orders so we wouldn't be waiting on that. By the time she was finished with all of our coffee we decided not to order food because we didn't want to wait forever for our food. They missed out on money bc apparently she hadn't been to sleep the night before and wasn't on her A-game. She also was talking to another waitress about the sludge that was in the main coffee pot they were serving to the other guests eating there. I would...

"We found another breakfast spot nearby. The decor is unique and the place was clean and well-lit. Overall, a good choice, although the coffee was disappointing. We tried the breakfast burrito, which was decent, and the tree smuggler dish had great flavors, but the granola was missing! Our server, Haley C, was friendly and acceptable, though not overly enthusiastic. I really enjoyed the pecan muffin as well. It's a great place to hang out, but it’s unfortunate that the coffee didn’t taste better. We walked over from our rental apartment, and it’s conveniently close to other shops. Parking was easy, and there’s a pet-friendly area. It's definitely popular with the locals."

We have visited Charleston many times and this was by far our worst experience at a restaurant. The waitstaff seemed indifferent, and our food was served cold and overcooked—a quality that should never have left the kitchen, let alone made it to our table. While the atmosphere was enjoyable, earning it an extra star, the overall experience fell short of our expectations for the brand. We typically enjoy wonderful dining experiences, but on this occasion, we were quite disappointed. We'll be looking for better options in the future.

absolutely phenomenal experience. I've been living on foolishness for over a year and finally managed to get it here. they have the best coffee on the island, oh and smoothies, there is also an espresso bar, but if nothing is for them, they get the **** mary and call it a day. ask for connecticut when they come to the host booth. they will be with andrea (who is from connecticut) and it is all downhill from there. be cool, be cool, tip high, stay blessed. “Mic drop”....” crowd goes wild Book a table now

Nice beachy vibe and cute outdoor area. This is a good option for a light breakfast or lunch on your way to Folly. I got the Southwestern salad with chipotle cream. It was good, not great. The grilled pineapple was really the best part. I also tried the seasonal cocktail, the blood orange mule. It was VERY sweet. Think Tang. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with lots of options. There's pretty much something for everyone.

The space is incredibly charming with a lovely atmosphere. The server was also quite friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet expectations. The waffles were the only thing that tasted right. The home fries appeared overcooked but were actually a bit hard on the inside, not fully cooked through. The French toast and pancakes seemed like they had been microwaved, and the sausage was excessively salty.

Great little breakfast spot. Guess my timing was spot on because we did not wait a minute on a Thursday morning. Our server, Cher, was great. Funny, fast, efficient, and I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup. She had the Huevos Rancheros, very tasty. I have the combo breakfast the eggs, sausage, and home fries sweet. Good value we have to come back and try lunch!!

Very disappointed, chicken salad was like a paste. No chunk chicken with grapes and pecans. Grits were not creamy like usual, dry. Waitress never came back and refilled drinks and kept looking at her watch. Overall service was subpar. Will not come back again till they get better wait staff and better cooks. Have always enjoyed this place in the past. Book a table now

Sweet brunch spot on James Island. I enjoyed the options and fresh ingredients. Closes early then again all of the Charleston/Folly area closes by 9. Early risers will enjoy an eclectic menu and atmosphere. Cool merch and don't skimp on the pimento cheese! I suggest this Carolina gold on anything!
