Black Peat - Table reservation

Never encountered a 'Scottish ' pub (outside of Scotland) before so wasn 't sure what to expect. About as Scottish add your average Irish pub is actually Irish, i.e. is a theme for the decor. Good selection of beers, and a lot of burgers on the menu, all reasonably priced, alongside a decent whisky selection. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating of our limited French, would happily go again.

Excellent bar with a wide selection of beers and a very wide selection of whiskys. The food is excellent. The bar's fine. The only criticism is that there are no Scottish people who are seen behind the bar French people in Kilten who cannot speak a word of English) and it is quite expensive the most expensive Guinness in Angers.
