Black Walnut - Table reservation

Food was excellent. Shad Brussels Caesar shared; it was huge and tasty. My lamb was perfectly cooked, served with a humus a bit crispy with nuts. The Syrah was big, fat, sharp, tasty. My friend loved the English ribs (English, because boneless, apparently. Who knew? Anyway, our server said they were like your grandmother's pot roast, and that seemed right. The ambience is not great. It's super loud and looks like a school cafeteria. Why? Is that one thing? I'm kind of out of it. Whatever. I'm definitely going back, just not at the weekend.

The food was pretty good, but not good enough to return due to the bad service. The service was very bad. We saw our server 3 times and we were there 1 hour and 30 minutes. My friends Essen came out of me. When my food came, she was cold. We never got drinks again. I noticed that other people wait as long as we and another table get false orders. I'm not sure who runs this restaurant, but it's not well managed. I think for the price you pay you expect highest quality and that is not the case.

Delicious food, but our server basically ignored us the whole time, had to ask for refills and wait awhile to receive them when it wasn’t that busy. I was bummed because I had heard that it was the service that made the whole experience.

Food is delicious, but the service is definitely missing. It wasn't busy when we were there and waited for everything. Our waiter had only our table.
