We had a fantastic Tomahawk steak with delicious chips at this restaurant. We also ordered a nice salad and homemade coleslaw which was perfect, I would rate it 5 out of 5. However, from 7pm to 9pm, the main customers at Blended seemed to be there for the food, not to be overwhelmed by the loud music. We had to endure 2 hours of nonstop RnB music, which was not to everyone's taste. I suggested to the manager that they vary the music a bit, but she said the playlists were set by the owners and didn't make any changes. Went for the blend brunch on Friday night. Not much atmosphere as we walked in and the music wasn’t playing in the area we were sat in but it’s fine as we could chat. We emailed in advance about the cocktails but when we got there the cocktails were different to what we had been told. You also had to choose one drink and stick to it which was a little bit disappointing compared to other brunches I’ve been to. I went for the pornstar martini which was very nice but obviously very sick and sweetly after a while of drinking it. My sister and I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. We ordered the Tomahawk steak and enjoyed several cocktails. The food was tasty, but the peppercorn sauce did not meet our expectations as it was not creamy or peppery. Our waitress and mixologist, Becca, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She was also very efficient, especially since she was the only one serving food and drinks.
My husband and I had been once before for the shared tomahawk steak and this time returned with a birthday gift voucher given to us. The food was again tasty, cocktails had a good selection and then were half price for additional ones; staff friendly and the place had a good atmosphere. £4.37 was added to the bill for a 'tomahawk service charge ' which was fine.
