Blenkinsopp Castle Inn Bistro Bed Breakfast Gardens

Please Ignore the recent 1* reviews, there obviously seems to be a little bit of jealousy of how perfect this little hidden Gem actually is!! Myself and my partner stayed in our campervan in the rear car park of the pub after a very busy day doing part of our Nland250 tour. We came across blenkinsopp Castle Inn via a campervan Facebook group and after seeing how many people rated this place we thought we would give it a try. Well let me tell you, from start to finish this has to be one of the best pub stop overs we have ever done. The owners where very welcoming, polite and professional, the food was absolutely insane, that good on the evening we had to go for breakfast in the morning too!!!...

Please read this before booking It’s clear when reading this establishment’s reply’s to every comment that isn’t 5 star you should give this place a wide berth. The replies to their customers coments that you read are just a fraction of the “service” you’ll be unfortunate enough to encounter if you decide to spend any money here. Unprofessional aggressive waiter and head chef who clearly can’t take any feedback. The worst dining experience ever before you reply with a sarky comment that you think is acceptable the chef appears to be the owner it’s her way or no way such a bizarre evening ruined by this unprofessional, defensive team. Visited for a quick drink whilst passing through with work. Pleasant enough but the manager was hard work... having it out with a customer who wasn 't happy was embarrassing to watch. (You can see her attitude 1st hand just by reading her scathing responses to apparently genuine customer reviews on here. Oh Carol, Google says 3 stars means ok . How can you expect people to rate you any more than ok with the way you speak and reply to your customers? PS I wonder how long it will take you to have a go at me in your reply...!

Did a layby when walking Hadrians Wall really enjoyed the ambiance, the inn keepers are personable and very helpful food is excellent staff is fun just an all together great experience! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic
