We stayed at this hotel over Christmas, and unfortunately it really wasn’t the festive, cozy experience we were hoping for. The room was cold, and the air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own—working occasionally, but never when it was actually needed. The service was fine, polite and functional, but nothing beyond that. Overall, the hotel feels quite cramped and dated, and comfort definitely wasn’t its strong point. The Wi-Fi in our room was unreliable at best, which is always a joy when you’re trying to relax or plan your day. Considering the price, the value for money simply wasn’t there. What a great hotel and attentive staff! I stayed at a Deluxe terrace room, and it was the dream! Waking up to views of the iconic plaza Cataluña, Barcelona's modernist and Gothic quarters, Monjuic, and even the sea, whilst enjoying my morning coffee was priceless!! The rooftop terrace was really good, and the hotel has all the amenities I needed and more! Really nicely decorated rooms too, and super comfy bed. Daniel, the director was a dream. He and his team made my stay be even better! Thank you so much!!
For our trip to Barcelona, we chose this hotel based on its good reviews, but the experience was disappointing. The room heating did not work during winter, making the room uncomfortably cold. When we reported the issue, staff were dismissive and initially offered only extra blankets. I had to go downstairs myself and request a small heater. Although this improved the temperature, the staff’s rude attitude and lack of empathy left a very poor impression. This fell far below the level of service we expected.

A top hotel in a top location. The hotel is located on Plaza Cataluna: many shops, restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is great: spacious, beautiful and very luxurious. The bathroom has a very spacious shower, a separate toilet and a sink with two faucets. Security seems a bit lacking: we were able to walk straight to our room without anyone asking us anything. At breakfast and at the rooftop bar, they did ask about our room.
El sitio bonito, pero he pedido un Muga no tenian, el Ramon Bilbao me lo han servido en copa de plastico sin ver la botella y los cocktails en vasos de plasticos. La excusa es que hay piscina un 12 de diciembre con la piscina vacia . Bonito pero no renta.
