Ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwich but got a lamb gyro instead. It's 1am so I've decided to eat it anyway since I was too hungry to wait another hour for them to deliver the right order. The 1st bite I realized how salty the meat was. But I tried to eat that anyway out of hunger. But by the 3rd bite I realized there's no way I can eat this. So here I am at 1:26 am eating the only edible thing in this order, the pita bread, and writing this review.
This is literally one of the best gyro/lamb over rice I ever had. I buy gyro?s from this place at least once a month. Today I brought it for my cousins from London to try and they loved it. The owner is really kind and loyal to his costumers and gives them discounts if you have been coming a long time. If the owner is reading this, I?m Mehdad and I love the food! I STRONGLY recommend this place!!!
Gyro King is a must go to spot for halal food lovers in the Bronx- Everytime I go there they offer amazing service, amazing and fresh food. It?s a lovely environment. They offer a fair variety of different options to order from. My go to order from there is the mixed gyro sandwich with a drink. They will not disappoint you. Go to Gyro King as soon as you can!
Fresh and delicious each time. The staff are always friendly and always up for a chat. I've never liked storefront halal places but this place, even for the late night craving, is more than enough! Always recommend their mixed platter with white sauce, bbq sauce and a bit of hot sauce.
