"Used to be excellent but last time I got it the crust was extremely dry and the flavor just wasn't there. Generally it's very good"

We normally love Lou's and have no issues with delivery. About a month ago we recieved a call that their delivery person quit on the spot. We went to pick it up. We were told the difference would be refunded. We got the tip we prepaid back buy not the delivery fee. They were very apologetic but no compensation for the inconvenience. Now tonight we ordered through Door Dash because Lou's delivery time was very high and Door Dash was not. The app told us the order was confirmed by Lou's. Lou's also chose to do the delivery themselves instead of using Door Dash. After 1.5 hours the app finally said the order was complete. I don’t know what happened, but the quality of food has gone down at this location in the last few months. Most recently, I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. I got a pile of noodles with meat and a mushroom. I think they drained all the sauce to save it for someone who ordered marinara only

The pizza was great but they were running behind by 20 minutes after they told us to be early or on time so we are considerate and keep the carryout line moving. Good news is it seems like it was only us and another car waiting a long time.

It's Lou Malnati's. If you don't like it, I'll pray for you. I am pretty sure they are my 2nd favorite pizza ever. My 1st favorite is from a small town in Watervliet Michigan that is no longer there, so Lou's is actually number one now.
