We are regular diners to many restaurants cafes and bars all around Vic, NSW, SA with work and personal. We are in our 50s and love Thai food. However we chose this place after reviewing and it came up well. We were not as excited as others. Firstly if you dont like spice dont go here all the menu including the rice is spicey. We also were a little miffed that the bulk of the meals were vegetables not much meat in any of the meals we had. $52.00 delivered for 1 x entree, 3 mains and rice you work out what you feel about this but no real substance to the mains at all. We were disappointed given the reviews of course its always difficult to know if reviews are from genuine customers)

This little restaurant is a quiet achiever, closing early and only seating about 20 people, but the food is great, and its clear the locals know all about it. The night we were there, couples and family groups came in, ordered their favourites, ate and went home happy. We were a group of 5 and shared entrees and mains. The menu has lots of choices, and is divided into styles of cooking (stir fry, curry, noodles etc) so that you choose your sauce/spice mix and then choose what meat or vegetables. The serves are generous and delicious.

Compared to all of the other Thai restaurants around this is probably the cheapest. A few different entrees were worth trying out, particularly the 'not ' curry puffs. The pad Thai was a bit sweet and bland but the mussaman curry was tender and terrific. Don 't expect a flash setting, the lack of flash is made up with quality of food.

Alas this small reasonably priced eatery specializing in Thai street food has no longer operating at the Burwood Village, Toorak road.
