The fish was well-cooked and delicious, but much of the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired. Firstly, it was highly overpriced over for two courses for two people with one drink each. In particular my starter was a total...rip-off for just three of the smallest scallops I have ever seen. The sauteed potatoes that we both ordered with our mains were not very nice at all soggy, oily, with a slightly odd flavour and only just cooked and per portion. It would also be good if more were available in the way of sauces to accompany the fish, which although tasty made for a very plain plate. Expensive food and poor quality. Our family tried a variety of dishes, but none blew us away and for the price we expected much more! When we arrived we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was relatively early for an evening meal. The...table service was efficient but the waiter kept pacing up and down which was quite irritating. The soft shell crab was really disappointing. It didn’t have much crab at all, more crispy batter! Escargot was tasty. Most disappointing was the fact that there was very little choice of sides and none of the mains (which were expensive) came with any side dishes, so per person you are looking at (with drinks) at least I felt this was a bit of a rip off!
