We always passed this place in our travels for many years and after reading an article that mentioned this eatery, we finally decided to make it a stop on our Family Fun Day. The inside has a very Cheers vibe, which we enjoyed. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Some of the items on the menu the chef will slightly substitute something else for it, but not too drastic, which I understand. Every dish, to me, had a very healthy feel to it. I had lunch here today and I can't praise them enough. We were seated promptly, and the waitress came over right away with menus and a large bottle of water for us to share. She gave us a few moments to decide before returning to take our orders. The food was served hot and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella, topped with a Madeira wine sauce and served on a bed of sautéed spinach. It was mouthwatering! When our original waitress got busy, a friendly waiter stepped in to assist. Both servers were polite, friendly, and very helpful. I will definitely be coming back!
This bar has an incredible atmosphere! They offer a fantastic range of pub food, and the beer selection is extensive, featuring some excellent signature cocktails. The Thai mussels were absolutely delicious, and the onion soup was a rich bowl of goodness topped with melted cheese. With such a great variety of beers and bar fare, you can't go wrong. We tried the flank steak au poivre, chicken nachos, a veggie panini, onion rings, and even a homemade ricotta cheesecake. The service was exceptional—I'm absolutely in love with this place!
Great place to hang out with friends or family. We also had an event upstairs, very reasonable, great space and service. They were very accommodating. It also has an elevator, this was a plus for some guests and getting things in and out. You should check them out. Wheelchair accessibility: My family member is in a wheelchair, we had no issue. This place is seriously underrated! My boyfriend and I really enjoy coming here to catch any Philadelphia game. The mussels were absolutely delightful, and the chicken sandwich was unexpectedly flavorful and not at all dry. They also offer a great selection of beers and wines.
