Ordered the cacio e pepe from their specials menu and it was underwhelming. My pasta was very watery, not cheesy. It had good taste, but nothing like traditional cacio e pepe. We had mixed emotions about my wife 's chicken parmigiana pasta dish. The chicken was good, however it was very saucy. It was accompanied by a side of rigatoni served on a separate plate that was drowning in sauce which combined with the chicken felt like sauce overkill. This place is really great. Old school Italian food which comes out piping hot and is deliciously prepared. Try the lasagna, shrimp parm or calamari shrimp fra diavolo which were all great and big portions. Nice wine list too. If you like coal fired pizza, this is one of the best around. One of the best surprises in the NY area. You’ll love it!
12 inch personal cake was a perfect app for our little party along with a salad, loved my Panini sandwich and my friend loved their shrimp parm. Pasta fagiloi was also delicious.
Fantastic Italian cuisine!! We dined with friends for some chicken parmigiana and pizza which were both excellent. We look forward to our next visit.
