We used to live about 5 minutes away from this spot in Van Nuys and had no idea it existed before we moved up the Santa Clarita Valley. Had we known it was here...well, I still think we would have moved, but we would have been slightly more sad about it. What a great place in an unexpected part of town! We're vegetarians and the menu, especially for a gastropub as VERY vegetarian friendly complete with three types of vegan sausages, a veggie burger and vegan BBQ! Not to mention the many options of beer and cocktails to choose from, all in a really nice atmosphere that was crowded on the Thursday night we visited...plus family friendly! We saw the reviews for this place and thought we'd pop by here for dinner. The reviews are not reflected properly to our expierence. We sat down and about 10 minutes later, someone else sat at the table next to us. That table was waited first long before us. Had to just pull someone aside to get started. Then, the person who placed the order forgot to put in my nephews chicken nuggets and fries. Had us wait an extra 30 mins on top of the time we had already waited just to get our food. Down right horrible service here, the main reason I didn't leave a tip. Then, the food itself. It's not great, in my opinion. Got the Nachos, salted pretzel balls, fries, cheese pizza calamari. Nachos were ok, they were a little sweet greasy. Pizza was greasy but it was cooked thin with crispy edges tasted good, fries were great; my son liked them both. Calamari was light crispy, tasted really good with their sauce. Pretzel bites were fun their sauce was good. It's a smaller place but has quite a few tables, some bar seating outside as well. They have beers other drinks. It's a cool little place, located in the back of the plaza where there's a nice grass trees. Plenty of parking. Staff was eh. Prices are fair.
We were driving through The Valley, and a quick Google search landed us at this brewery. It's in a newer development and there was plenty of parking. My husband realized it was the same brewery he frequented way back in a Hollywood location and was thrilled to discover it had relocated. We had the pretzel bites appetizer, which was yummy. The house ginger ale was perfection plenty of bright ginger flavor and not too sweet. I enjoyed the Roasted Apple salad but will ask for the dressing on the side next time. We'll go back! I think that this place was much needed, and the service was quite amazing. I just placed it to go order and it was quick fresh, and I Was accommodated from the moment I walked in the door and felt appreciated in their establishment especially from Jamez He was quite honorable, very very kind to me. Wonderful attitude, beautiful, spirit Your business is very lucky to have such a Nice and easy-going, caring person like himself. And I haven’t even tried the food, but it smells yummy
Overall a great experience I opted for a Turkey Burger which was good but tasted healthy, I think next time I will go with the truffle burger to be more indulgent. If you like tap beer this place is for you. I like that they have a patio that doesn’t fave a busy street feels nice and quaint. My friend has the margarita pizza which I give a 4/5 and the service was great will definitely be back.
Nice casual dining. Great selection of beers. Food is excellent. Can always find the Dodgers or Lakers on depending on the season. Kid and animal friendly because their's an outside patio. I don’t normally order vegetarian, but tried the tofu this time. It was delicious and extremely flavorful. I had enough to bring home, so it was 2 meals.
One of the best places in Northridge! The food, music, vibes, and staff are top tier. I come month after month and have yet to be disappointed! The staff here is just terrific. Everyone is super attentive and friendly. The food and drink are phenomenal and let me tell you, the Prime Rib French Dip is the best I have ever had. Love coming here with my wife and son.
