The best part of the lunch brunch was that the food was delicious. The western omelet and eggs over medium were great. Service was a problem today. Staff seemed unorganized and not working together. It took almost 15 minutes to place our order. As our waiter was struggling with a large group and individual checks, a second wait staffer walking around did not step in to help. Our drink request were taken by another individual. The orders of two other tables around us were taken before our order was taken. The place is cozy but dark with a nice bar area. There were a few TVs around. Definitely geared to an older crowd although there were several tables with children. Our check was wrong but du...

Good restaurant, I'm from out of town, was driving by and stopped by the grocery store. Than I saw the sign and went in. The food is good, as is the service. I had fish and chips it was good as was supposed to be), my wife had an onion soup and my kid a NY Steak. Everything was good. The price is fair. It seems to be a traditional place with good food. We liked it. Do recommend if you are like me and aren't fond to restaurant chains, and the same tasting food and don't want to pay a lot in a, fancy dinner out. You can eat here and won't regret.
Awful experience! I ordered the shrimp and grits without sausage, but when my dish arrived, the grits were cold and I didn't find a single shrimp in it! I almost left, but the staff asked me to allow them to remake it, so I decided to stay. When the second bowl came, there were plenty of shrimp, but the grits were only lukewarm, and to my dismay, it also contained sausage despite my request for no sausage. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. There's nothing worse than unsatisfying food that leaves you still craving something to eat.
We enjoy this neighborhood pub atmosphere for a hearty meal reasonably priced. Always large portions so there is food left over to carry home for another meal. It does get a bit noisy so if people are looking for quiet romantic conversation this is not the place for that. Families with children, older adults, and a good general mix of people were there on Memorial Day. Two other restaurants we tried to go to were closed for the holiday. I really enjoy their sweet potato fries that are an upcharge side dish. Book a table now
The food was quite disappointing. I should have suspected something was wrong when I ordered the country fried steak and they asked how I wanted it cooked; in all my years, including 17 spent in the restaurant industry, I've never been asked that for country fried steak. To make matters worse, the fried steak wasn't even made fresh—it was just cheap frozen patties you can find in the frozen food aisle at the grocery store. On a positive note, the mashed potatoes were good, and the staff was very nice.
For my first visit, I ordered the burger and fries as a test. The burger was cooked perfectly—well-seasoned without being overly salty. The fries were just right, not overcooked and a good size—not too small, but not so large that they could be a meal on their own. Will I come back? Absolutely. The only improvement would be better lighting, but aside from that, the staff were excellent and efficient.
Visited today after many years away. Sorry I haven't been going more often. Food was amazing. Best fish and chips I may have ever had. Our waiter Zachary was great. I will be putting this place in my regular rotation in Tucker. Please go visit.
The best meatloaf in the area, paired with authentic creamed potatoes. The portions are substantial, and the bar offers delicious and generously sized drinks, along with classic southern sweet tea. Don't miss out on the tasty desserts! Book a table now
I absolutely love this historic diner. Their martinis come in generous 10 oz pours, and they really know how to craft them. The food is excellent! This is the classic restaurant you’ve been looking for.
The shrimp and grits are ok, could be better but the Chicken pot pie is a smash hit!

"Overall, the food was decent. However, the clam chowder resembled more of a warm clam broth and lacked any substance."
