I've been a local to this area for around 20 years now and can recall the current owners taking over the business. They have built up a clientele from not only those of the immediate homes around them but I know of people from neighboring suburbs who travel here for Fish n Chips.I personally don't eat fish although my ex advise me it was always great, and the the old fashion burgers are far better than anything your going to get at the international fast food chains...
I have been buying fish and chips from blue seas for 17 and it was excellent the best in the area but over the past few months the food has gone down hill. Chips over cooked, fish not as fresh. I noticed a lot of youngs kids work there and I wonder if they are doing the cooking? Anyway I hope things imporive soon otherwise I will be finding another fish and chips shop.
Really nice food but always phone ahead to order if you don't want to sit there waiting for an hour or more. They are always extremely busy so plan ahead at peak times like Friday nights if you're in a hurry. Also parking is at a premium so it's easier to either bike there or park down the block and walk back if you don't want to have to circle for a parking spot.
I reviewed this take away months ago and it was delicious. Sadly, going there yesterday was a huge disappointment. The fish smelled "fishy", the burgers are much thinner now, probably the same thickness and a fast food kids burger. The chips, well, the oil needed a change as they were awful. Waste of money, what a shame. Book a table now
This place always had good fresh food at a reasonable price. The new owners have been running it for about two months now and I'm so pleased it's just as delicious and maybe that little bit better!! Thanks for keeping a great place great. ????????
