We had just finished a Whitchurch Rotary Santa route in town and really fancied a curry as it was not too late in evening 8:30 ish. So we walked in and asked if they could serve us and they welcomed us warmly. We had a lovely tasty curry plus poppadums and lashings of Cobra draught its thirsty work being Santa's elves! Service was good and staff were very cheerful and friendly. Their menu had a vast range of dishes but we shared a lamb tikka dhansak with pilau rice and 2 sides of mushroom bahjee and sag alloo (hope I spelled those right). But my husband had recently eaten there before and had their banquet option which looked huge and he very much enjoyed it then.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was disappointed. When I got home and opened the food, one of the dishes was bright pink and tasted terrible. The other dishes were bland as well. When we complained to the restaurant, they told us we had ordered incorrectly and admitted to using food coloring in their cooking. The lack of flavor and unappealing appearance of the dish, along with the argumentative response to our complaint, has led us to decide not to return. See picture of the dish below.
We visited this restaurant on 18/02/23 and it was fantastic. We only briefly mentioned that it was for a birthday and they decorated our table area with a banner etc for us and gave us a complimentary drink this really made the dinning experience very special. The food was absolutely delicious with great portion sizes, the best Indian curry we have had for a while. We loved this restaurant and would definitely return if we came back the area
We were in holiday and recommended this Indian. We ordered 2 vegetable balti and they were disgusting. I've never not at least eaten some of my dinner. This however wasn't edible the brown soggy onions with the odd over cooked Carrott was disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Ali never fails to make you feel welcome and his food is outstanding. We visited on Friday to celebrate my wife's birthday, and everyone loved the meal, atmosphere, and service. Ali's friendly demeanor only adds to the overall experience. A perfect 100%.
Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Manager rude, spoken over customer blamed customer for their mistake. Will never have a curry from this establishment again. Currys are highly coloured mediocre tasting, with lots of salt.
Well what can I say went tonight with family had the 5 course buffet, totally amazing food great service and good portions well worth the money will be going again without fail, thank you to all the team for a great night

We visited on Thursday (Banquet evening) 3 adults and two children had more than enought to eat, plus drinks all round and a tip, for £75. Brilliant!
Food was amazing. Halal food and great vegan options . Very busy. You must book a table. We will be back.
