For years I had always been going to the North Adelaide Burger Bar a few shops up from the Blue and White as that was where I had my very first Yiros/Kebab.
The other day my friend insisted we go to the Blue & White as she felt the food was a little better there.
Well, it was. I don't usually go out of my way to write a review unless the establishment is truly deserving and the Blue & White is just that.
The Yiros was fantastic! Beautifully flavored Lamb & Chicken with fresh salad in the right proportions and adequately priced too. The chips were cooked to perfection and you could tell the oil is changed regularly.

Another great AB place in Adelaide! and it's located right next to my favourite one (North Adelaide Burger Bar). Sometimes I scratch my head deciding which one I want to go to this time. Don't know why but these AB places have the friendliest staffs. They always makes you feel comfortable when you order and wait for your food. The AB though, sometimes its really good, sometimes not so great. Some days, the chips are either too soft and mushy or just flat out burnt. Not being from Adelaide meant I had no idea what the AB was, until I asked. It's pretty much a meal to suit one of those evenings where you just feel like a dirty pizza or burger. For $15, these are solid portions that made me sit in the couch for an hour contemplating life. Friendly staff that were happy to have a good chat is always a bonus!
Easily a 5 star meal. So cheap and honestly the best yiros and AB I have ever had. Hands down. So much flavour, especially in the yiros. Parks easily accessible out the front and a prime location on O'Connell street. If you're looking for a cheap and delicious cheat meal, I 100% recommend Blue & White.

Pop in here regularly, the place is clean, service is always good & friendly, family run joint, food is nice. They use good quality meat products not all fat & gristle like you get elsewhere. Much better than its neighbor north adelaide burger bar!
Really friendly and great service, Fast service as well.... Chips tasted amazing. They seem to know nearly everyone who walked into the shop which makes it a very nice place to get food
We went on a week night and had the AB but we were not impressed: the chips weren't crisps and the meat on the dry side. Portions were big but we won't be back.
