Our group of six came here for a birthday lunch today. The food was good quality, but unfortunately, many items were unavailable from the menu due to a busy day the day before. The service was slow, although it was nice not to feel rushed. We would consider giving it another try, as it may have just been a one-time issue. The views from the restaurant were fabulous.
We chose the Scallops as our main dish and they were delicious, but the standout dish was the black pudding accompaniment (from Stornoway, I believe). It was absolutely fantastic! Everyone else in our group also enjoyed their meals, the service was friendly and efficient, and we had a great view of the Forth Estuary and Rail Bridge from our table.
