Do NOT come here for BOBA. Drinks do not taste good. There are so many other better places in OC. I ordered brown sugar boba milk tea, and it came out looking like regular milk tea. That is not how this classic drink is supposed to look! It 's supposed to have milk clearly on top, with brown sugar drizzled on the sides. Literally google brown sugar milk tea and you 'll see that there isn 't much variation. Now , this drink tasted like weird medicine mixed with milk tea. Absolutely horrible. We also ordered avocado smoothie, which had no avocado flavor at all! Just ice and condensed milk. We asked the employees if they used fresh avocado and they said yes, but I don 't believe them. For 12.50...
This is 100% coming from a heart full of bias as I have been drinking from this boba shop for as long as I can remember. Maybe it was 2006? Unsure. I can basically say that it has been my entire lifetime. Although the tapioca milk tea here doesn't tastetoo strongly of a tea flavor, it is delicious in its own unique way. The same can be said about the strawberry slush... Whowould have thought that artificial strawberry can be so delicious? Without bias though, I think the way the boba is prepared isdelicious. Always good boba tea and there tornado sandwich is great. The chung Chun rice dogs are super good and well priced. I like the number 8 which is the hot Cheetos one half and half. My daughters like the same one but with only with cheese. My favoritedrink is the coffee boba which is the boba loca one. Well if your in the neighborhood stop by and try you won't regret it
I used to come here about 8 years ago before boba loca switched owners and the new owners changed the old recipe for the matcha smoothie!! I was so upset because that was hands down one of the best drinks on the menu. I wish they never changed the recipeotherwise I?d still be a regular customer. ???? I doubt they would know how to make it now it?s been so long.

The crème brûlée cheesecake was absolutely amazing! The NY-style cheesecake was also quite good. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
We're from Australia and came here to enjoy some milk tea. The staff were incredibly friendly. I tried the chocolate milk tea and my friend had the Thai milk tea. Both were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back while we're in the area.
I think BobaLoca is a great place, i love their drinks and the positivity going around. Staff is great very kind and hardworking. And plus its delicious drinks for a fair price
Excellent service, great music, nice ambiance and tasty smoothies. What else can you ask for? Went there at around 9 pm and chatted away. We left when it was closing time, lol
