We might have picked an off day for our visit (Saturday, April 15th) because our drinks didn't live up to the high expectations set by previous reviews. I ordered my usual jasmine green milk tea with 25-30% sugar and boba, but it was overwhelmingly sweet, tasting as if it had nearly 100% sugar. The tea flavor was barely detectable; it was far too milky and left a powdery aftertaste. The classic house drink was similarly disappointing. Although the boba had a chewy texture, it felt slightly undercooked in the center. I truly wanted to enjoy it, but I could only manage a few sips before I had to discard the rest. This branch has expanded into neighboring Asian countries, and I have to say I really enjoy it in my home country. Now that I’ve found out there’s a location here in the US, I had to give it a try, and the drink tasted just as I remembered. The shop has a somewhat empty atmosphere since it's a new boba branch located in a somewhat secluded area, but it's definitely worth a visit (plus, you get the perk of little to no wait). My favorite drink is the taro boba milk tea (I know it’s a classic, but it’s delicious).
The staff were friendly, well-informed, and exceptionally accommodating. They took the time to address all my questions and customized my order to suit my tastes. When compared to other boba shops in Garden Grove, I found their tea to have a far superior flavor. I especially loved the wonderful aroma of their milk tea, which had a lovely floral note. I can’t wait to return and try more items from their menu.
The staff was incredibly rude. A girl and a boy who were working there pointed at me and insisted on knowing the size of the boba I ordered without even bothering to introduce themselves. Even after I told him twice, he persisted in asking about the boba size, sugar level, and toppings repeatedly. It was difficult to understand what they were saying, which made the whole experience quite confusing for me.

Additionally, they got my order wrong, but I decided not to bring it up due to the awkward situation. Overall, their demeanor came across as quite rude and unprofessional. It seems like they might be straight out of high school, and if that's not the case, it's even more disappointing. Because of these experiences, I don't visit this place as frequently anymore.
The boba here is just average—nothing remarkable. If you find yourself in the area and have a craving for boba, feel free to stop by and give it a try. However, I wouldn’t recommend making a special trip just for it.
It was my first time visiting, and I absolutely loved it. I live in South Central Los Angeles, and the 45-minute drive was definitely worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The staff were exceptionally accommodating, and the drinks were amazing. I particularly enjoyed my Japanese brown rice tea with 30% sugar.
