The 2 things I liked about this place was the outside patio and the bread basket. Otherwise, it was a poor experience for me. Had the California Pear Salad, which was fine but nothing special. Tried the Best Burger with two types of cheese borsin (typically a very mild garlic cheese) and cheddar. This was the worst burger I ever tasted. I'd describe it like a pine tree. I mentioned to the waiter that it wasn't good and he told me the chef thought it was a bad combination of cheese flavors. First, neither cheeses should of tasted like a Christmas Tree. Second, if the chef thought it was a poor selection why not TELL me before cooking it. Third, what a poor response by the server when I told h...

We came here on our vacation in Clearwater and came in here not knowing what to expect. My parents and I got the filet (we were in the mood for steak) and it was easily one of the best filets I've ever had! The red burgundy wine sauce on it was fantastic. We also got a side of the vegetables for that day which was green beans and mushrooms in a creamy mushroom sauce and it was SO DELICIOUS!! I could've eaten the whole plate of them and lastly my dad got the Boston cream pie and i got the apple strudel which were also fantastic. The apple strudel did have raisins in it which i wasn't expecting but nonetheless delicious!

What a nostalgic experience this was! It's been years since we visited Bobby's Bistro and its more upscale counterpart, the Beachcomber. Two decades ago, these restaurants were the hottest spots in Tampa. Remarkably, the decor hasn’t changed at all since then, yet it still feels fresh and not outdated. The food was outstanding. We had the pleasure of meeting George, our server, who is somewhat of a local celebrity. He was incredibly friendly and even treated me to a larger-than-usual shot! I'm happy to give this well-regarded establishment a fantastic review!

This place has been going downhill. Been coming here since it opened. Very under staffed and mediocre food. Burger was very bland, dry salmon and the potatoes were just so so. The only things good were my onion soup and my glass of wine. Bartender nice but he was completely in the weeds as I’ve seen him like that before. It used to be nicer here when they had the chefs cooking in the little kitchen in the dining room where people could see them. $8 for a cup of black regular coffee and a few refills..Parking: Valet parking available. You absolutely have to try the grouper—it's local and fresh, and the potatoes that come with it are fantastic. For the kids, order the pizza; it’s enormous! The wine selection is extensive and reasonably priced. If you're in Clearwater, this restaurant is a must-visit. They offer valet service if you need it. The indoor air conditioning space is quite limited, but there’s also some outdoor seating. Don't miss out on the bistro's potatoes—they're delicious and can easily be shared among 3-4 adults because of their size!

The service was great, and the bartender was attentive—he wasn't overly talkative, but he made a solid recommendation. Just a heads-up: the food is pricey. A filet costs $67, and a prime NY strip is $61. I ended up choosing the French onion soup, shrimp, two 4 oz filet mignons, and an a la carte potato dish, and everything was delicious! Perhaps the prices adjust when the tourists leave. I wouldn’t describe the atmosphere as lively, but the food certainly made up for it.

A group of us ate dinner one evening. I ordered the salmon and it was cooked perfectly! It was tender, succulent, mouth wateringly delicious! I skipped dessert as I am trying to cut way back on my sugar intake. Service was very good especially in light of all of the groups in the restaurant. Beware the line for the Men's room when it gets busy. I ended up walking back to my hotel instead of waiting for the line 5 guys deep in front of me to subside.

I was disappointed that I was charged $40.00 for a piece of fish, no sides. Fish was dry with little flavor. The sherry garlic shrimp was good. Poor selection of sides, only 2 and expensive. Atmosphere was ok. Way too expensive for the food you get. My bill was over $95.00 which included 2 glasses of wine. Book a table now

My husband and I love the date night atmosphere. We always get the filet pizza and pasta special. Great wine selection.
