For the most part, the food was excellent. The only issue that we had was my ribeye (cote de boeuf) was really gristly. Hey, no big deal. Every now and then you get a bad steak. Our server, Delton (absolutely fabulous service) immediately took it away and sent over the GM (which I appreciate, but wasn’t necessary). I wasn’t exactly a fan of the way the manager handled it, although I will definitely go back. We love Bob’s. There are so many amazing steak houses to choose from in Dallas. Bob’s is mediocre at best. Service was not up to par for this establishment. Waiter did not pick up on a food allergy. Steak had to be sent back due to improper cooking temp. It was then returned cooked with butter. Also ordered the fried lobster. Nothing special for the price. Food was lacking seasoning. Mashed potatoes and lobster Mac and cheese were very bland. We did enjoy the salad and key lime pie.
First time dining. Celebrated my hubby birthday. Brandon was our waiter. He was very informative and went over all the specials etc. Drinks and dinner 10/10. We enjoyed everything. We also stayed the night and was upgraded free of charge to the presidential suite… littles things make me smile. They had his name printed out on the menus. Very nice touch
Our expedience was great from start to finish. Every team me ever was kind, informative and so helpful. We loved Nicolas our server because he’s so great and he’s fast and informative. Great food and a great drinks. And lastly, I love the way the team all works together.
