Stopped in to meet my bestie and her mom for an early dinner at 5:00. There is ample parking nearby which makes it a plus especially for restaurants in Newton! We were pleasantly greeted by the bartender (or chef I wasn’t sure because he overheard my order and said “I can make whatever you want” which was fantastic news! The waitresses were on top of their game, water glasses filled, constantly checking on us. No apps just mains, the lobster/shrimp scampi, chicken piccata, eggplant parm and the steak tip special! The food came out quickly, was portioned well and delicious…our plates were clean. By 6:00 pm the place was almost full and I can see why. We shared a few desserts and although I wo...

We stumbled upon this gem near our place a few days ago and we can’t wait to go back. We popped in for lunch, and from the moment we walked in, the waitress greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite was delightful, prepared with care and bursting with flavor. We tried soups sandwiches and everything was to die for. And the atmosphere? Cozy and inviting, the kind of place you want to linger and savor the moment. Their tiramisu with a cup of coffee served with Italian cookies bites on the side was the perfect ending to our unforgettable experience. Thank you If you're in the mood for a friendly welcome, mouthwatering Italian cuisine, and a co...
The service, although not exceptional, was satisfactory with no complaints. However, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The pasta we ordered, described as “cacio e pepe”, was subpar with supermarket pasta lacking sauce and only tossed in oil with a sprinkle of pre-grated parm on top. It was not worth the price of $20 or more. The atmosphere was also disappointing with hospital-like lighting, plastic furniture, and noisy kitchen noises throughout our meal. Overall, we regretted not just dining at home as neither of us being Italian, we can both cook pasta much better than what was served.
I went here like 10 years ago, then happen to revisit it tonight. All i can say is EXCELLENT all around: meal, service, atmosphere. I had the eggplant parm w spaghetti. And a bowl of minestrone soup...very tastey, not salty. The staff should be applauded and recognized for their friendly personalities and hard work!! Its a quaint atmosphere too. They also honor luncheon menu during dinner. Nobody does that in the industry.: )Definitely coming back more often. Great Italian restaurant!!! Book a table now
first impressions: waitress offered bread and oil. We asked if it was good bread and if it was warm. She said yes it was warm. When she did finally bring it, it was cold like straight out of the fridge. why tell us it was warm and would it kill to pop it in the oven for two minutes? Makes a huge difference and I find that the first simple presentation of food, in this case the bread, portends the quality of the rest of the meal. I can stay home and eat cold bread.
This was a fabulous experience! We got the last table for a party of 3, and the place was packed. The owner was very visible and moved between the bar, the kitchen and the customers and he was clearly right at home and enjoying himself The service was very friendly and the food fantastic I'd definitely go again, and I have recommended this place to work colleagues visiting
