Just been to the Wakefield visiting and thought we would pop in to Bocelli's for a coffee before going home I had a nice but slightly unusually flavoured macchiato, not sure what it was but it really cut down on the bitterness. I also had a green tea, an unusual combination but it is shat I felt like. Michele and Garnet had thick shakes, chocolate and caramel respectively Michele and myself had the low fat lemon cheesecake which was nice but could have had a more intense lemon flavour. Italian Cafe on Hutt St that was bustling with people all through the dinner service. The service was friendly for a busy cafe and the menu is huge and the food portions the same. Garlic bread was unfortunately very boring, although the Trio of Arancini balls were actually some of the best I've had in a while. The Mummabear had the signature Bocelli fettuccine dish which was mushroom in pesto and was deelish, I had chicken mushroom risotto also with a pesto sauce- really tasty (extra tasty day after too the sis hadda vege burger- don't ask why in an Italian restaurant but she said it was good! Pl ease note that since writing the review below , the owner of Bocelli took the time to contact us to find out about our dining experience. Any business that acts on reviews deserves another chance. While I have left the comments in about our experience on that particular day, I have changed my rating to reflect the fact that they want to know what went wrong. Give Bocelli a try clearly they do care. This place was a major disappointment. The service is non-existent. We waited at the entrance but no-one acknowledged us. I took our family and have to say I was fairly disappointed. It runs to the fairly standard italian cafe formula in Adelaide. Both adults had pasta amatricana very disappointing with no discernible chilli, and not to the standard of many other cafe's. Service was slack (not clearing away drinks etc) on a quiet night, and the kids meals were very poor. Fish fingers and chicken nuggets for each with no drinks when other cafes are offering actual fish or chicken with salad and ships for kids incl drinks an desert just lift it to way too expensive relative to the quality. second time to have breakfast with cousins. eating is tastie. the amount is average. toast is a bit hard. most of the hot dishes are based on eggs, so if they can not eat eggs, then normal restaurant arrangements is to replace something else instead of the eggs. both of them saw the manager (I suppose) that when he had fallen to me! Who is the customer? the rest of the staff was pleasant.
Early morning visit to the city on a chilly Saturday required a good place to both escape the cold and have a hearty breakfast to start my day. Bocelli was the closest cafe and after finding a seat in the sun, ordered the classic bacon eggs chased down with a coffee. Food excellent, staff friendly cafe design welcoming. Highly recommended!
they were several times too bocelli, they pfeifen some amazing toasties and piadenas! must try on a winter night, the coffee is also well done. the place can be immersed even though it is a good size. the ambiente is average.
We have been patronising Bochelli's Cafe for many years. The food is nearly always great, the staff are friendly and efficient. Great place to meet friends or family, have a business get-together or just pop in for a coffee.

Price/quality ratio, good proportion, friendly staff, good home made eating and fast service. a wood stove pizza would be a bonus! very spacious and with a lot of staff to help.
