We stopped for lunch at this restaurant on a round trip travelling with Apollo. We had good local food and a generous amount of different vines. The restaurant had stored vine bottles everywhere, collected through generations, very interesting. The staff was very friendly and service minded. We stopped at the shop at the ground floor and bought some bottles of cava. Of course my wife, after all the vine, forgot her expensive sun glasses made for her eyes only. However, that was no problem, they sent them by post all the way to Norway. This is what I call service. Hope we get the opportunity to visit this place again.

We visited here on a P&O cruise excursion, they think because they’ve given you wine they can rip you off, we bought a bottle and the woman at the till very swiftly threw in a box of awful chocolates which I’m allergic to into my bag of wine, they cost €5, didn’t realise what she’d done until we got on coach, thought at the time she’d slipped a leaflet in there, looking at receipt the crafty cow had charged us . The Tapas was awful, no veggie option, couldn’t even eat the cheese because it was covered in luncheon meat

Enjoyed a wine tour excursion bought through our hotel and Botega Alvaro was one of the stops. Wonderful experience! This was our first wine tasting tour and we had a blast. Nice souvenir shop with Ron Miel tasting, might of went a little overboard with the tasting. Let's say it was very good! This was our lunch spot with several tastings. You sit at a large table with other people from the tour, we got to learn a bit of German. Fun day!

Visited Tacoronte and the Bodega Alvaro to have a wine tasting. The white and red wines were not to my taste but the cava was really nice (took a second glass too). The shop and tasting are are covered with bottles and the outlook is quite interesting and nice. Wine can be purchased and some other stuff too, like some local products
