I've never eaten at a Bodega before, neither has my wife. We were trying to entertain some out of town guests and after driving around in Adams Morgan for about 30 minutes trying to find parking, we decided to come to Georgetown instead. We were so relieved to find parking at a garage nearby and then just traveling on foot to see what options we had for food after 10pm. Bodega won for us. Me nor my wife couldn?t pronounce the foods they had on the menu good despite the English

Great location right in the middle of Georgetown. Although the paella looks delicious, I was not a huge fan of it. Fortunately everything else we ordered turned out delicious: serrano tower with manchego, bacon wrapped dates, toast with cheese and honey, patatas bravas, and the obligatory glass of red wine. They also serve warm bread with quality evoo that was a nice surprise. The ambiance is nice, and we were seated right by a fireplace, which was nice given it was a cold
I am totally addicted to Bodega! I love love looooove the ambiance, the excellent wine list, the warm service and, more importantly, the excellent tapas. They are by far the best price for quality, quantity and menu diversity in DC and I've been to most around. I wish they had a few more veggie options but no complaints. The Serrano Jamon, mussels bread are the stuff of gods!If I lived in Georgetown, I'd possibly never cook dinner again. I highly recommend only if you
Randomly stepped into this place and it was crowded and we sat at the bar. The portions sizes are small and it is pricey. We were going to order the Paella but it was about 25 minutes to get that. We went with the hot tapas instead. They also gave bread and that was good. We had Tortilla Espanola which is basically a slice of omelette . It came with Mayo and was a bit salty for me , otherwise it was good. The Calamares fritos was not bad too. Gambas al Ajillo (shrimp Book a table now
I?ll be honest, I was nervous about trying this place because I?ve never had Spanish cuisine before. My husband wanted to come here. Wow, I?m so glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone because the food did not disappoint. We had the cheese tray, a salad and lentil soup. It was surprisingly filling and SO good. Atmosphere was great too. I loved all of the details in the decor.
We stumbled upon Bodega Spanish Tapas and Lounge after walking around M street and wanted a place to rest ourselves with a drink at the bar. We didn't order any food, because we just ate a huge meal, so we had a few beers and sangrias and met 2 locals who gave us some great tips! I really enjoed this place. It's tiny and cozy and the bartenders and locals were very friendly!
Food drinks are great, just be prepared to pay (a lot) for them. That said, the lamb chops were the best I've ever had. Paella was tasty as well, perfect for sharing with a group. If you have cash burning a hole in your pocket, it can be well spent here. I may be back for those lamb chops!!
Great Spanish spot I normally grab the Paella ! It?s good considering I?ve been to Spain a few times of course you can?t compare but I would recommend giving this restaurant a try you won?t be disappointed ????????!! Grab the bottle of Sangria as well ! Book a table now
I highly recommend checking out the happy hour specials at the bar. The regular menu is also fantastic, especially the steamed mussels with their delicious broth.
